With constant education on the benefits that exercise provides, why is the majority of the public not addicted to it? Let's face it. Life keeps us busy and being burnt out after working a full-time shift isn't exactly motivating. Even less motivating is cold winter weather.
Don't let winter stop you from exercising, even if outside is less than inviting. Make the most of the indoors. Here are some easy exercises that you can do anywhere.
It seems like many of us would do jumping jacks as kids just for the fun of it. Certainly, the fun is still there. This exercise is great to get the blood circulating for a warm up or even better for cardio if you want to crank out a few dozen (or hundred!) of them.
This is a classic and all-time favorite exercise for many. Need a lighter approach to work your way into increasing upper body strength? Don't forget about knee-pushups.
If you want to tone up your leg muscles, then squats are your go-to exercise. Even if you do not have weights, standing parallel to a chair with one hand on the backrest lets you squat in place with your body weight.
Unleash the animal within. Yes, dancing is exercising. Get your heart rate up and improvise your moves. Just keep moving to the beat. No one is watching. Honest.
Who said being healthy couldn't be fun?
